- Act as the policy making body of the Association, the legislative and deliberative body of the chapter
- Serve as a conduit for communication between leadership and membership
- Listen as a sounding board for concerns from the membership
- Advocate for the membership through its actions
- Defend the integrity of the contract through its actions
- Be ultimately responsible for all actions of the Association
